Having just returned from a great shoot at the Royal Academy Of Dance in Battersea in London, we decided to upload a couple of shots for you to view.

A great team of people down there, the energy is infectious. A big thanks to the students who always go the extra mile to get the shot.

Behind the scenes St Davids

We have nearly finished the edit for the latest TV commercial for St Davids shopping centre in Cardiff. We shoot all of the live action in our studio on green screen, and then put together a rough off-line edit for the client to make amends, which was then loaded and keyed in AFX. We are now fine tuning the music and the effects, but it will feature here in it’s entirety fairly soon.

On set at the latest Barker & Stonehouse shoot

Shoot Day

The crew arrives at the studio to work on the set. The set build was done over the previous day, so our shoot day involved rigging the lighting, prop styling, deciding the relevant camera angles, and planning the direction of exit for each individual item of furniture.

We worked in reverse, so started with the set styled and lit as we intended it to look at the end frame stage, then dismantled the set piece by piece, whilst recording every move.

Filming commenced at 11.30 am. We wrapped on day at 10.30pm.
