Barker & Stonehouse

Shot and directed by Johnny for Mask Creative.

Meticulous attention to detail and careful planning was needed to bring these inanimate objects to life for what was a labour intensive shoot. Every object was moved inches at a time then re-shot. A series of stills cameras mounted at angles around the set were all simultaneously triggered. Once a frame was captured then members of the crew, each with their own allocated item to move, would descend on the set moving their piece on it's journey out of frame. This was repeated over 180 times for each set. The scene was then reversed, to give the illusion of the furniture walking in to frame.
